Instructions for Applying FMJ Coating

 

1. Preparation: ​

• Ensure you use the FMJ applicator sponge with the white special suede material with it.

• Shake the FMJ Coating well before use.

• Prep the applicator pad by applying 3-5 drops of the coating onto the white surface of the pad. Add 1-2 drops as needed during application.

2. Application:

• Start in the middle of the panel.

• First, wipe the coating left to right across the panel.

• Follow this by wiping up and down, overlapping each stroke until the entire surface area is completely covered.

3. Drying and Wiping:

• Allow the coating to dry until it appears 60% or appear half dry.

• Use the recommended FMJ Microfiber cloths to wipe the coated surface thoroughly and completely, ensuring no residue is left.

• Move to the next panel and repeat the same steps.

• Apply the coating to one panel at a time.

4. Post-Application Care:

• After completing all panels, leave the coating to air dry for 3-4 hours. Avoid getting the surface wet during this time.

• The coating will fully cure in 5 days. After this period, you can wash or wet the surface normally without any special care.
